Feed Center Tour 1
This farm is located in northwest Wisconsin and milks 700 cows. The feeding center includes drive
over piles for forage storage on a 130,000 square foot (12,077 square meter) area of blacktop.
Feed Center Tour 2
The feed center on this northeastern Wisconsin dairy supplies feed to three different
sites; one with approximately 5,000 milking cows, another with approximately 1,500 milking cows.

centralized around a 270’ x 80’ (82.3 m x 24.4 m) enclosed commodity building with home-grown
forages.

This farm in southeast Minnesota milks 1400 cows. The feed center provides feed for all
mature cows and heifers. The feed center is centrally located with plans for expansion.
Feed Center Tour 5
This farm milks 950 cows, housed at two sites that are approximately 5 miles (8 km) from
each other. The feed center is located at the main dairy site and includes a semi-enclosed commodity
shed with an opening on the south side of the building.
